Got questions about fire spinning?
Where to shop?
If you are looking for all around spinning and fire related items I highly recommend
-http://www.homeofpoi.com/shop/
They have an awesome selection of all kids of items. including led poi sets, and practice fire sets and actual fire sets. They also have a long list of videos to help you learn moves. the videos are all sorted from beginner to advanced.
Another great site for all sorts of abstract fire spinning equipment is
-http://www.bearclawmfg.com/catalog/
They have great quality items. i still have and use my first set i got from them over a year ago and ive spun 100s of times.
You dont always have to buy your first set. Its actually not very hard to make. most of the poi set are just comprised of Kevlar rope and simple knots which you can find parts lists and instructions for online.
What to wear?
near wear anything that is baggy or wool. you want cloths that hug your body so whatever you are swinging wont get caught in it. avoid wearing any hair spray or hair gel unless you want you head to explode into flames. You could where a beanie to protect your hair.
I recommend something like slim fit jeans and a tight T-shirt (if any shirt at all) I recommend wearing Kevlar sleeves. you can find them at anywhere that sells welding equipment.
Where you can learn?
Me!!!
I will soon be opening up a school for lessons as well as i will have a sight open within a month with video tutorials.
Until then id recommend finding places online that offer help. or finding videos online.
